Steps 4&5: Psalm 123-124

I have been called to pray all these psalms each day for the next two weeks (Psalm 120 -134). I thank anyone who is praying with me. We are on day 4. Prayer is powerful and our only Hope is to call upon the Name of the Lord together for help and mercy. Two steps today! Moving upwards, personally, for our nation, for Israel... Step Four on the Southern Steps - A Call to Prayer! Psalm 123 - Unto Thee I lift up mine eyes, O Thou, that dwells in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that He will have mercy upon us. Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us. for we are exceedingly filled with the contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud. Thank you Father God, Abba, for Your mercy upon our nation. Give us eyes to see, hearts that understand, ears that hear the TRUTH and to stand together against lying tongues and deceitfulness. Jesus, You see what is going on in the dark (Isaiah 29:15); I pray for repentance for this nation and Your mercy to give us victory over the scheming and contempt of the enemy. In Your Name Jesus we pray. Step Five - Psalm 124 If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side, may Israel now say, If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us; Then they had swallowed us up quick when their wrath was kindled against us. Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had swept over our soul. Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken (Hallelujah!) and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. We pray Lord God for Your protection over Israel and against all those who seek to harm her. We pray for protection against all schemes of the enemy to take down our nation, the United States of America. I pray the United States will always stand with Israel. Your mighty plan for all the earth will prevail! Victory is in You Jesus (Yeshua) alone! We love you! Thank you for your mercy! We pray for Your Holy Spirit power to pour out on us to repent, to see, and to praise You God for making a way of escape from the traps laid before us.
