Step 7: Psalm 126

Updated: Apr 29

Wow! What a day... Elsa got all 4 of her wisdom teeth out. By God's grace and protection and prayers, she is doing pretty well right now. We are just keeping up the pain meds:). So I keep stepping up and asking the Lord to lift me to the Rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61) and He does. Step 7 on the Southern Steps (spiritually speaking of course, although I wish for real) Psalm 126 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that DREAM. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them (His people). The Lord has done great things for us, whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him/her. I love this Psalm. It does seem like a dream we are living in, hoping to wake up to what is behind the veil that covers the whole earth (Isaiah 25:7). Then we shall see Him, Jesus, Yeshua, face to face forever. What a beautiful, wonderful, joyous day that will be! Dear God, we thank You that this earth and what we see is not all there is; there is SO MUCH MORE for those who love You and know You and are called according to Your purpose. Thank you that our weeping will be turned into great joy and the seeds we sow of Your Word will be turned into a GREAT Harvest even as You release us from the strongholds and captivity of this world and lead us into Victory and Freedom in Yeshua. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that fills us with laughter and singing and the joy of the Lord, even in difficult times! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
