Multi-tasking anyone? As you go through facebook today encouraging others, posting messages, lifting up scriptures, you can also accomplish prayer time and exercise at the same time (okay, virtual exercise) as we ascend these steps together! Now that's something! So take a few moments and breathe deeply (I know I am type A so this is difficult) and pray for God to help us with our weariness and fill us with His JOY ... What a beautiful day outside! Step 6 on the Southern Steps (posting June 3 - 15 each day) Psalm 125 - They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from henceforth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity, but peace shall be upon Israel.
Dear Father, thank You that You surround us with Your songs of deliverance. We pray for peace in our nation and for peace upon Israel. We pray for repentance and healing. We pray Your will be done as the prophetic Word unfolds. We pray for direction, revelation, Truth, and Unity for Your people. In Jesus Name, Amen Please pray as the Holy Spirit leads. I love praying the Psalms and especially these ones as I know now they lead us to the top of God's Holy Temple, a whole new perspective when we get there, if we are willing to climb. Blessings!
