"Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter day (Hosea 2:5)." Another prophecy being fulfilled in our day. Since the rebirth of Israel in 1948 over 9 million people live in Israel with almost 7 million Jewish people called by the Lord to return. This tiny nation prospers under the mighty Hand of the God of Israel, the God we serve and love.
Step 14 on the Southern steps and we are almost there, to the gates that lead to the Temple, the top of Mount Moriah where Abraham was called to sacrifice his son Isaac but at the last second, God gave a ram as a sacrifice in his place; Mount Moriah where the 1st temple was built by Solomon and the 2nd by Nehemiah and reinforced and elegantly added to by Herod in the days of Jesus. And now where the Muslim mosque sits, even as the Jewish people want to build their third temple there. It is all happening in the news. The 3rd temple will be built and there is much prophecy here too, but this is not the temple that God builds without human hands….Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells within you? I Corinthians 3:16
Psalm 133 – Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that went down the edge of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forever more.
Dear Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, the God of all the earth, we praise You and lift You high. Even as chaos and division abound in the earth right now, You are a God of unity and order, love and mercy, justice and holiness. We thank You that You are gathering Your Bride in unity in these days and true and perfect Love will be in and among Your people. We know Jesus You are the only answer to all of this hurt and pain. We thank You that You promise “in the last days, it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths, for the law shall go forth out of ZION, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (Micah 4:1-2).” There will be peace again and unity. Now we are still in the birth pains of all that will be fulfilled before You come again (Micah 4:10-13, Micah 5:1-2). We ask for the anointing of the Holy Spirit in overflow so that we may help reap a great Harvest. We thank You for the dew of Hermon that flows down to the mountains of Zion. As water flows down the mountains to water the land below, we pray for Your outpouring upon Your people from the windows of heaven. May we be strengthened for the work You give us for such a time as this. In Your glorious Name Yeshua, we pray, Amen.
A picture of Mount Hermon, which has been nicknamed "the snowy mountain", "the gray-haired mountain", and also "the eyes of the nation". Because of its elevation, located partly on the Golan Heights (way north of Jerusalem), it is a place for the watchmen and women to send early warning of any danger. Watchmen and watch women high up on the wall watching... as we should be.
