I open to Isaiah 10 this morning. I believe I am to post what I hear. It is prophecy for the days we are in right now. Shock, discipline, total defeat of the Assyrian enemies of Israel, Return of the remnant of Israel to the God of Israel, and then we face Babylon. It is a message for all of God's people. All here in Isaiah 10 if we will take a moment to think on these things and understand.
The question –
And what will you do in the Day of Visitation and in the desolation which shall come from afar? To Whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave (drop) your glory? Isaiah 10:3
Shock molt – October 7 (we must drop our proud feathers).
Yahovah has Israel’s attention. Does He have ours yet?
A pride parade is scheduled in Jerusalem tomorrow. How many pride parades are scheduled in America for the month of June? Sadly, Israel, the nation to bring Light to the nations has followed the nations to befriend them instead of leading the Way, as is their true calling.
Here is what the LORD Yahovah says to Israel:
Without ME, they will bow under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this, His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
O Assyrian, the rod of My anger (discipline) and the staff in their hand is My indignation.
I will send him against a hypocritical nation and against the people of My wrath.
Howbeit he (Iran, Iraq, Syria, Hezbollah(Lebanon), and others) mean not so, neither does his heart think so (these nations do not know that Yahovah, God of Israel, is in full control and is using them as a rod of discipline)…but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations, not a few (the ideology of Islam – world takeover is in his heart). Isaiah 10:4-7
He thinks his princes will be kings (over the defeated nations). Isaiah 10:8
Isaiah 10:9,10,11 Yahovah will punish Samaria and Jerusalem as He punishes other nations and kingdoms that worship idols.
Yet this is for Israel’s discipline and correction; though it may be severe, it is not for her destruction. She will never be uprooted again (Amos 9:15). It is a call to RETURN to the only true God – the God of Israel.
Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when Yahovah has performed His whole work upon Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the prideful heart of the King of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. Isaiah 10:12
Yahovah will take down this pride after He has called His people back to Him and they humble themselves before Him (I Peter 5:5-6). (This applies to all of us).
Here is what will happen in the days just ahead of us.
And the Light of Israel shall be for a fire, and His Holy One for a flame; and it shall burn and devour his thorns (Assyrians, Iran) and his briers (all nations complicit with Iranian regime) in one day. Isaiah 10:17 (This involves Nineveh as well - but too much for here).
When Israel fights for their very existence, they will see Yahovah God of Israel fight for them, destroying all Israel’s enemies in this war, then…
Then the remnant of Israel shall trust on Yahovah, the Holy One of Israel, in Truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the Mighty God (El Gibbor אל גבור) Isaiah 10:20-21
Yahovah God says to Israel not to be afraid.
Therefore, thus says the Lord God of hosts, O MY people that dwell in ZION, be not afraid of the Assyrian; he shall strike you with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt. For in a very little while, the indignation shall stop and My anger (will arise) in their destruction. And Yahovah tsava’ot (the Lord of hosts) shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb (see Judges 6); and as his rod was upon the sea, so will he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. Isaiah 10: 24-26
And it shall come to pass IN THAT DAY that his burden will be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Isaiah 10:27
“Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim; cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. … And He shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. Isaiah 10: 30 and 34
Lebanon – from the North, Hezbollah. Not the Lebanese people, but the terror that has been planted there. It shall be taken down. Fierce fighting against the Assyrians of many nations. After the war against the Assyrians, a “peace” plan comes. And the last of the wars before Yeshua’s return is the war against Babylon (the spirit of Babylon, Mystery Babylon, Har Megiddo)…
Isaiah 13 – The Burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amotz אמוץ did see…
So as it was in the Old, it shall be again in the New. The first war with the Assyrians and then the Babylonians, but now instead of defeat, a great turn-around, a great come-back, a total victory for Israel and the God of Israel. The Old is the shadow of the new. God’s Word is living and active and tells us deep things if we are willing to dig into the Word of God and listen to the Holy Spirit.
I will end with this. Isaiah 46:10-13:
Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure; calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executes my counsel from a far country; yes, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Hearken unto Me, you stubborn-hearted, that are far from righteousness; I bring near My righteousness; it shall not be far off, and MY Salvation shall not tarry; and I will place Salvation in ZION for ISRAEL MY Glory.
Take it to heart my friends. Stand on the side of Israel and pray for her Return to the God of Isael, her Salvation (Yeshua) and ours. This is true Holy Spirit Revival, starting in Jerusalem soon as it did 2000 years ago.
