Jehoshaphat in Hebrew means Yehovah JUDGES (shaphat). King Jehoshaphat is spared in this war between Israel/Judah and the Syrians (last post about Micah, 1 Kings Ch. 22), yet God reminds me that the nation of Israel and later Judah are JUDGED and brought into captivity first by the Assyrians and later the Kingdom of Judah by the Babylonians just as the prophets Jeremiah, Micah and others foretold. Then, I am reminded of the Valley of Jehoshaphat in Joel Ch. 3. God speaks to me through His Word. Unlike some prophesies that have been fulfilled, there are many that are yet to be accomplished or are in the process of coming to pass before our very eyes. The Valley of Jehoshaphat prophetic Word is for today.
Joel Ch. 3 "For behold, in those days (last days), and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem (today the people of Israel are being gathered back to their re-born nation, May 14, 1948), I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and parted My Land (what has happened since 70 A.D. when the 2nd temple was burned to the ground by the Romans. The Jewish people and all those who stood with the Jewish people were persecuted and scattered for the longest diaspora of 1878 years). God says He will judge the nations for what they have done to His people and the nation of Israel (Joel 3:3-8) and He will call forth to prepare for WAR (Joel 3:9-11). "Let the nations be wakened and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there will I sit to JUDGE ALL THE NATIONS round about. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come, get down, for the press is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.
This is where God calls the nations and all people to understand.
Multitudes, multitudes in the Valley of decision for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. Joel 3:14 The Lord PLEADS with the nations and all people and churches to stand with Israel and His people that He is gathering back to their Homeland. Those who understand and stand for this Truth are those that are grafted in to the House of Israel (Ruth to Boaz). Those who will not see and those who stand against the Jewish people and Israel will be judged. Harsh words but I am stating scripture. It is God's Word. He is both Holy and merciful. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...
Joel 3:16-17 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the Lord will be the Hope of His people and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall you know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. Then shall Jerusalem be holy and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
Ultimately, there will be great mercy on the House of Israel and the Jewish people that God is calling Home both physically and spiritually. He is calling His remnant Home both Jewish and Gentile BELIEVERS IN YESHUA as One New Man (Ephesians 2). He is calling His people Home to build His Temple made without human hands. The dividing lines are being drawn in the the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
Replacement theology and silence have no place in these last days in the House of God. Those who understand or are humble enough to seek to understand shall receive the new wine Joel 3:18. New wine can not be received in old wine skins. Change us Lord! Help us to see with spiritual eyes by Your Holy Spirit what You are doing in our day, for such a time as this.... Help us to have Your Heart, like KIng David. Help us to lift up our voice and not be silent until You, Almighty God, make Jerusalem a praise in all the earth (Isaiah 62:6-7) In Jesus (Yeshua's) Name we pray. Amen.
