The Lord knew these days were coming as we remember them this week, but He also knows the days are here when He will fight all those who come against Israel.
Do you see the Holocaust in these words and all the other times the enemy has come against the Jewish people? Isaiah 51:16-23 "And I have put My Words in your mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art My people. Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which has drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of His fury; thou hast drank the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any that takes her by the hand of all the sons that she has brought up. These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction and famine, and the sword; by whom shall I comfort thee? Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net. They are full of the fury of the Lord, the rebuke of thy God."
A big change here in His Story - " THEREFORE, NOW hear this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine, Thus says the Lord the Lord, and thy God that pleads the cause of His people, Behold, I HAVE TAKEN OUT OF THINE HAND THE CUP OF TREMBLING, EVEN THE DREGS OF THE CUP OF MY FURY; THOU SHALT NO MORE DRINK IT AGAIN. BUT I WILL PUT IT IN THE HAND OF THEM THAT AFFLICT THEE; which said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street to them that went over."
Zechariah 12:3, 8-9 says, "And IN THAT DAY, I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people. All that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered against it. ... And in that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and He that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem".
Praise You God for the nation of Israel being born again as prophesied! Thank you for the strength and beauty of this nation to protect Your people that have borne so much pain and devastation at the hands of surrounding nations in the past almost 2000 years. Thank you for our President Donald Trump and those that stand with him that stand with the nation of Israel and her people; Your people are my/our people. I am praying for all holocaust survivors, praying for Israel and the Jewish people to know their Messiah Yeshua, and for the peace of Jerusalem. The Word of God is beautiful and tells us the whole story, in all its details, even to the day the Lord Jesus (Yeshua) returns. Let us meditate on His Word and be ready for the days ahead.
