Covid-19

CORONA VIRUS HITTING HARD. ALMOST EVERYTHING AT A STANDSTILL. (Do you have 3 minutes?)

The Lord says, “Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in (all) the earth. Psalm 46:10

The Lord speaks to my heart. “As in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Son of man (the Lord) be. For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall the coming of the Son of man (Jesus) be.” Matthew 24:37-39

When Jesus came to this earth, He taught and healed in power everywhere He went for about 3 years, the years after He was baptized by the Holy Spirit. And to those who heard Him and obeyed Him, He taught that one day they would hear, “Well done, My good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of the Lord.” (Matthew 25:21). Jesus brought sight to the blind, physically and yet more importantly, spiritually. And He (Jesus, Yeshua) said to the blind man, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam (which means Sent in Hebrew). He went his way therefore, and came (back) seeing.” (John Ch. 9) All through the gospels, we see Jesus teaching about God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and about the Kingdom of God. Some listened and believed; others hated Him with an evil jealousy and envy and unbelief. When the appointed time came, Jesus submitted Himself to the task He came ultimately to do – to die for the sins of the whole world, for any that would call upon His Name. At this point, Jesus becomes very quiet. “And the chief priests accused Him of many things; but He answered nothing. And Pilate asked Him again, saying, Do you answer nothing?” behold how many things they witness against You. But Jesus answered them nothing, so that Pilate marveled… “For he (Pilate) knew that the chief priests had delivered Him for envy.” (Mark 15:3-5, 10).

The Lord speaks again to me and to all of us I believe. “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6) This corona virus (whether started by the Lord or by some more devious plan of man for control) will be used for God’s glory. God is saying to us “Be still, everyone who is so busy about your own lives and your building of your own houses, churches, church programs, reputation. Be still everyone who is busy rushing children from one activity to another (sports and otherwise), who is busy with work, entertainment, cell phones. Be still even those who think they are doing something for Me that I never said to do. Be still and listen. Spend time with Me in the Word of God. Pray for Holy Spirit revelation. “Be still and know that I am God” I hear the Lord plead with us, for there will be a time in the days ahead, where we will not be able to find Him if we don’t already know and hear His voice now. Although it does not feel like it, this time of corona virus is actually a time of grace. Have you ever seen the whole world so still? It is a calm before the storm. Listen to God and write out what He tells you from His Word. Hide His Word in your heart. Use this time wisely. Pray for each other. Do not envy or lift yourself over your brother or sister. Humble yourself before Him (I Peter 5:5-6). If you are His, do not fear. If you are not, or are not sure, “Cry out to Him!” for He still can be found.

If the Lord Jesus were to come in our lifetime, would we be ready? Do we know the prophetic Word to prepare us for His second coming? Do we know the prophesies about the peace plan, the third temple, the nation and people of Israel re-born and regathered and SO many others that are happening now? So many of the religious leaders 2000 years ago missed the Messiah’s first coming. They were more impressed with their own power, prestige, and position, that they did not see the Lord Jesus as their Messiah and even envied and hated Him and all those who followed Him. Would it have been this way if they were truly seeking Him and not their own “kingdoms”? The prophetic Word (Isaiah – Malachi, and Revelation and all the Word of God) is so important today. It must be understood and taught, the true prophetic Word, not false prophets (Jeremiah 23) or from those who lack understanding (2 Timothy 3:5). We only get understanding by spending LOTS of time in His Word and by revelation of the Holy Spirit.

I feel the Lord cry out to His people, “Seek me, and I will tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3) We need to seek Him now with all our hearts, and humbly receive what He says (Hebrews 11:6).

A friend of mine in Israel recently posted Bible verses with the word corona in them. Corona is the Spanish word for Crown which denotes God’s glory. No matter what it looks like now with this corona virus, this too will be used for His glory!

Revelation 19: 10,11 and 13 says, …for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war. …. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and His name is called the Word of God.

God says to us, pleads with us, “Be still and KNOW that I am God…”
